A burglar sneaked into the apartment of a 63-year-old Freisinger via the basement on Wednesday.

A Freising homeowner caught a burglar in the act.
The perpetrator managed to escape.
Now the police are looking for witnesses.

- A burglar broke into a single-family home on Zimmermannstrasse in Freising on Wednesday.
However, he had not expected the house owner, who surprised him, as the police report.
At around 7:30 p.m. the perpetrator broke open the basement door and sneaked into the apartment.
He stole a wallet and ransacked several closets.
When he was caught by the owner (63), he opened a window on the ground floor and fled.
His loot amounts to 300 euros and the property damage amounts to 150 euros.
The burglar is between 25 and 35 years old, around 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall and of strong build.
