Colleagues reacted quickly: They cooled the finger immediately
The work colleagues of the employee at a turning shop noticed the accident and acted quickly: They provided first aid and immediately called the emergency number.
When the ambulance and emergency medical team arrived at the scene of the accident on Benzstrasse, they took over the patient's care.

In order to possibly save the finger, they put an amputation bag on it - the injured man's colleagues had already cooled the severed little finger.
The 50-year-old and his finger were then transported to a special clinic in Munich.
Doctors in a special clinic are trying to save the finger
There is reason for hope for the man: Due to the short time window between amputation and arrival at the clinic, surgical measures are being carried out to try to restore the finger's functionality, reports the fire department.
The police are now investigating how the accident could have happened.
