Because the child didn't want to go skiing, the mother locked him in the car.
The police had to intervene and save the distraught boy.
Trent – Leaving children alone in the car is not a good idea – and not just in the heat.
But that's exactly what happened in a ski resort in Italy.
At the Brocon Pass near Trento, a 40-year-old mother from the Czech Republic went to the ski slopes without her four-year-old son and left him locked in the car.
Skier locks child in car: Boy couldn't open car from inside
The Italian news website
Tgcom24
reports on this .
Employees of a ski lift found the child in the car at a nearby parking lot.
The employees alerted the police at Castello Tesino train station.
When the officers arrived, the child was sitting in the car distraught and crying.
At the sight of the police, the child calmed down.
Since the car was locked, the boy could not open the car from the inside.
Only after several attempts was it possible to locate the child's mother.

The woman from the Czech Republic tried to justify herself.
Her child didn't want to go skiing and therefore stayed in the car.
She gave the child's 13-year-old brother supervision.
Even though this operation was probably unusual, emergency services have to be deployed to the mountains again and again during the ski season.
Because accidents are not rare.
Recently there were a few accidents in the Sölden ski area within a few hours.
And falls from chair lifts are not uncommon.
It was only on February 14th that a 15-year-old fell out of the lift.
A similar accident previously occurred on February 9th, when a 6-year-old fell into the depths but only suffered minor injuries.
