The alpine mountain rescuers from Lenggries had to complete five missions last weekend.

The weekend and nice weather meant there was a lot going on on the mountain: exhausted hikers as well as injured skiers and tourers called for the alpine rescuers from Lenggries at the weekend.

Lenggries - The alpine mountain rescuers from Lenggries had to complete five missions last weekend.

The first incident occurred on Saturday (February 10th) at 11:25 a.m. at the Finstermünzalm on Brauneck: a 45-year-old skier complained of exhaustion and muscle cramps.

The woman was taken to the top station of the mountain railway in the Skidoo snowmobile and was able to make the journey home independently.

Lenggrieser mountain rescue operation in Jachenau

At around 2:45 p.m. the volunteer rescuers were called to a hiker in Jachenau.

She climbed over a fence near the Berglalm and fell onto rocky terrain.

The emergency services discovered a suspected fracture in the right upper arm and a broken rib.

After being treated by the rescue workers and the mountain rescue doctor, the woman was taken to the valley and handed over to the ambulance from Bad Tölz.

At 4:15 p.m., four rescuers rushed to the aid of two blocked people in the Brauneck ski area who were descending the mountain on foot.

One of the two slipped shortly after the breakthrough at Garland and only came to rest at the storage pond.

Two of the emergency services led one of the people back up the mountain to the cable car using crampons, and the second person was driven into the valley with the Akja, the rescue sleigh.

Bayernhütte near Lenggries: Hiker complains of nausea, vomiting and stomach cramps

At 8:45 a.m. on Sunday morning (February 11th) the Lenggries mountain rescue team went to the Bayernhütte on Brauneck.

A 35-year-old woman from Munich has already received initial care there from the Munich Mountain Rescue Service.

The woman who had spent the night in the hut complained of nausea, vomiting and abdominal cramps.

A rescuer from the Lenggries mountain rescue service and a mountain rescue emergency doctor from Bad Tölz continued to care for the woman and took her to the mountain station by skidoo.

When she arrived in the valley, she started the journey to the hospital on her own.

At 2:30 p.m. the mountain rescuers were called to an injured ski tourer in the Brauneck ski area.

The 46-year-old complained of shoulder pain after a fall on the upper family run.

An emergency doctor from the Lenggries mountain rescue service diagnosed a dislocation and reduced the shoulder.

The man was taken to the valley with the Akja.
