Considered an "icon of Celtic music", Canadian singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt returns to Italy to celebrate the thirty years of the release of the album "Themask and mirror" and will open her summer tour with a concert at Forte di Bard.

The event - as part of the Aosta Classica event - is scheduled for Saturday 20 July, at 9.30pm.

Tickets will be on sale on Ticketone from Thursday 15 February at 10am for the fan club, for everyone from Friday 16 February, again from 10am. Published in 1994, "The mask and mirror" - we read in the concert presentation - has been defined as "timeless and transcendent" and praised for its intercultural contamination of Celtic, Spanish and Moroccan influences. "This album - explains Loreena McKennitt - has been a historical and musical pilgrimage for me and I am thrilled to bring it back on stage during the summer tour in Europe.

This is a milestone anniversary in my career and I can't wait to celebrate."
