If the elections were held today, the state camp would have won 40 mandates, according to a Maariv survey today (Friday).

This is an increase of four mandates compared to the survey conducted a week ago, the Likud also gains one mandate and rises to 18.

The religious Zionist party drops below the blocking percentage, and the Labor party disappears completely from the map - 0% of the participants in the survey answered that they would vote for it.

Accordingly, the coalition bloc decreased this week to 44 mandates, compared to 48 last week, and the coalition increased to 71.



About half of the respondents oppose Netanyahu's decision not to send a delegation to talks about the kidnapping deal in Cairo, compared to a third who support the decision.

Among the opponents are 81% of Yesh Atid voters and 66% of the state camp voters, but also 8% of Likud voters, 72% of whom support Netanyahu's decision.

47% of respondents to the survey believe that Gantz is the most suitable for the position of Prime Minister, compared to 32% who think that Netanyahu is the most suitable, with no noticeable change from last week.



71% of the respondents believe that Israel should launch an extensive operation in the north that will keep Hezbollah away from the border, only 12% of them prefer the continuation of the application.

Among the residents of the north, the support for military action in Lebanon is less overwhelming - 65% support, and 18% prefer the continuation of the operation.

47% of respondents to the survey believe that Gantz is the most suitable for the position of Prime Minister.

Findings of a survey conducted for Ma'ariv newspaper by "Lazar Researches" led by Dr. Menachem Lazar in collaboration with the Panel4All.co.il internet panel of respondents. The survey was conducted on February 14-15, 2024 and was answered by 515 respondents who are a representative sample of the adult population in the State of Israel over the age of 18 and above, Jews and Arabs. The maximum sampling error in this survey is 4.3%.
