The daughter of the bricklayer from Altavilla Milicia accused of killing, together with two accomplices, his wife and two sons during an exorcism, was arrested on 14 February for murder by the juvenile prosecutor's office.
The news has been learned now.
The girl allegedly participated in the massacre.
The arrest was validated by the investigating judge.
The investigation is coordinated by the minors' prosecutor Claudia Caramanna.
"The survivor, the eldest daughter, participated in the torture of the purification rites. I have sent the documents to the prosecutor's office for minors who has jurisdiction."
This was said by Termini Imerese prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio during the press conference called to illustrate the details of the triple murder in Altavilla Milicia in which Alessandra Salamone and her children Kevin and Emanuel were tortured and killed.
Giovanni Barreca, father and husband of the victims, and a couple from Palermo Sabrina Fina and Massimo Carandente are in prison for the massacre.
"It's a terrible tragedy, when we found ourselves there it was heartbreaking. Seeing the bodies in those conditions was a tragedy. There is no reason to emphasize what happened. The father is a person who has been living a mystical delirium dominated by fanatical religiosity. Which weighs heavily on the children", added the prosecutor.
