From the southern motorway junction to Holzkirchen, a motorcycle speeder collected enough violations for a three-month driving ban and a hefty fine.
He had also overtaken a civilian patrol.

- On Shrove Tuesday (February 13th) around 1:45 p.m., a civilian video patrol from the Holzkirchen motorway police was overtaken by a motorcyclist on the BAB A8 in the direction of Salzburg at the level of the Munich South motorway junction.
The motorcyclist appeared to be in a hurry, which would explain his acceleration to over 170 km/h against a permitted speed of 120 km/h, the police write humorously.
The police stopped the speeder with flashing lights and a siren (symbolic image).

With a sports Yamaha at 168 km/h, we moved up to 5.4 meters on the vehicle in front
When he encountered other cars in the left lane, he quickly overtook them on the right at 165 km/h.
When the speed limit was lifted, he repeatedly accelerated his sports motorcycle to well over 200 km/h, repeatedly hitting slower-moving cars in the left lane.
He regularly fell far short of the prescribed minimum distance.
During the later video evaluation, a distance of 5.4 meters at a speed of 168 km/h was demonstrated, among other things.
Stopped at the Holzkirchen junction with flashing lights and a siren
With flashing lights and a siren, the Yamaha driver was then stopped at the Holzkirchen junction.
After being accused of the violations, the 43-year-old biker appeared visibly distressed.
He now faces a four-figure fine and a three-month driving ban.
The man comes from the Munich district and, according to the police, is a newbie motorcycle driver.
He wanted to go to Sylvenstein.
