Was happy about a full hall: Heike Kronseder had many “dear ladies and gentlemen” to greet.

Wartenberg - Third District Administrator Rainer Mehringer even criticized state leader Aiwanger at the FW's political Ash Wednesday.
It was the only municipal event for Political Ash Wednesday in the district: the Free Voters had invited people to Pesenlern, and the hall in the Bachmaier Inn was just enough to accommodate all visitors.
Although the FW district chairman Sven Krage was unable to attend, Heike Kronseder welcomed him.
And the list was long, as many mayors and other elected officials came.
They wanted to hear the man who Kronseder called “one of the hardest-working local politicians,” who “tirelessly goes among the people” and “who doesn’t hide away”: Third District Administrator Rainer Mehringer.
Before he took the podium, Kronseder, herself a market councilor in Wartenberg, looked at the upcoming elections and passionately appealed to women to get involved - not just at the bottom of the list.
Mehringer found clear words and largely stuck to district issues.
“Our social peace is due to volunteer work,” he said, also with a view to refugee work.
He also took up the cause of school social work, which the district finances significantly in its schools.
He also addressed the loss-making Erding Clinic.
26,000 patients are cared for there every year.
“That's a number that I had to swallow myself.” With regard to the nursing shortage, he explained that without the affiliated school the district would be even less able to recruit the necessary staff.
And then he took aim at the AfD, whose name he didn't say: They should make suggestions about how nursing staff could be recruited without migrants.
He never sees anyone from this party at school graduation events.
“Then they could see what it really looks like.” In general, he sharply attacked “those on the right-wing fringe”: “Not a single acceptable and discussable suggestion comes from these ranks!” FW boss Hubert Aiwanger also got his fat off: “ He sees three agricultural machines and thinks it's a farmers' demonstration.
They’re for sale there.”
When it came to public transport, Mehringer gave a strong “Yes, but!” It didn’t work to increase the frequency for a lot of money in the hope that the passengers would come.
There was applause when, with regard to the refugees, he demanded: “Young men have to work.
But sitting around all day is not possible.”

When it came to the topic of renewable energies, he grimaced at the failed wind turbine plans at Auerbach and said: “Ouch!” Now it could happen that Chinese investors build three wind turbines at this point, and no one will be able to prevent that.
The basis for this is the “Onshore Wind Act”.
Mehringer, on the other hand, gave a passionate rejection of the plans for a private high school in Dorfen (we reported).
“We don’t want elitist groups.
We want general education schools for everyone,” he emphasized.
The third district administrator ended his speech with the appeal: “Join us for a vibrant democracy!
Get involved in volunteer work!”
Peter Bisaha (Styrian harmonica) and Anton Hirth (dulcimer) provided the musical arrangement for the evening.
