From Monday, February 19th, state road 2079 will be closed between Oberpframmenrn and the roundabout (Harthauser Straße).

Reason: Trees are felled to build a cycle path.

Oberpframmern

- For the Ebersberg district, an important measure on state road 2079 is in the construction program of the Rosenheim State Building Authority: A new pedestrian and cycle path is being built between the roundabout (Harthauser Str.aße) and the community of Oberpframmern.

According to current status, construction of the four-kilometer-long connection along State Road 2079 is scheduled to begin later this year.

The construction will extend the existing pedestrian and cycle path and thus close a gap in the cycle network.

This increases traffic safety for everyone who travels here on foot or by bike, said the authority on Friday, February 16th.

In anticipation of this measure, the necessary tree felling and tree work would be carried out in this area.

This will begin on Monday, February 19th.

Since heavy equipment is used during the tree work, St 2079 must be completely closed for the entire duration of the work for safety reasons.

Traffic will be diverted during this time and the diversion route will be signposted accordingly.

“If everything goes according to plan, the closure can be lifted again on Friday, March 1st, after the remaining work has been completed,” said the Rosenheim State Building Authority.
