There is a long traffic jam on the A95 near Höhenrain on Friday afternoon.
A van and a car were involved in an accident.
The drivers were injured.
Wolfratshausen/Starnberg - There was an accident on the A95 on Friday afternoon.
The siren went off around 2:30 p.m.
Emergency services rushed to the Höhenrain rest area.
Two cars collided near them.
A kilometer-long traffic jam quickly formed.

“Not as much happened as we had originally feared,” said an officer from the Weilheim traffic police at the scene when asked by our newspaper.
According to initial findings, a van collided with a car because the driver overlooked the man next to him.
Both were on the way to Munich.
The van wanted to move into the right lane - and didn't see that the BMW was in that same lane.
This is how the collision occurred.
“Both drivers sustained minor injuries,” said the VPI official.
Those involved in the accident were taken to the Wolfratshausen and Starnberg hospitals for care.

Traffic was redirected via the Höhenrain service area.
The blocking is currently still active.
“We are still busy cleaning up and recording the accident,” said the police spokesman at around 3:15 p.m.
