Shakira
announced that
on March 22 she will release her next album
,
Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran
, which will have a
special vinyl edition, the first of her career
.
On her official networks she wrote: "I have not created it alone but with all of you, and
with my pack of wolves who have been there accompanying me every step
."
And she added: "The production of this work has been an alchemical process. As I wrote each song, I rebuilt myself. As I sang them, my tears were transformed into diamonds and my vulnerability into resilience."
The famous singer-songwriter showed in her post that
the vinyl release will have four versions
, each one with a different photo and a different color of the album itself.
In one, for example, diamonds are seen rolling down her face in the form of tears.
And a large part of the songs on his album were inspired by the conflictive and high-profile separation he had with Gerard Piqué, the footballer and former Barcelona player.

Women No Longer Cry
is the artist's twelfth studio album, and her record label Sony Music describes it as "
a dazzling testament to Shakira's resilience and strength
, as well as the power of music to transform the most difficult experiences into valuable moments".
The new album will include the seven hit singles that have already been released, such as

with Bizarrap and

with Karol G, which both debuted in first place on the Spotify Top 50 global chart.

The latter color will be available in general stores, while the sale of the previous ones is limited to specific websites and locations.

An alliance with Spotify
The iconic Colombian superstar has partnered with Spotify, giving fans access to
a special pre-release album experience
, including a Pre-Save feature, notifications around the release, a countdown, album cover, title, the list of songs, exclusive music videos, products and much more.
Earlier this year, Shakira received a plaque from Spotify in recognition of "Shakira Day," an initiative that originated in Colombia on September 29 and was a tribute to the artist who has proudly represented her country throughout of his entire career.
