The lines evolve subtly, integrating redesigned headlights and housing second-generation Matrix technology, revised shields and an updated grille.
Inside, the Octavia pulls out all the stops with nine ambiances, recycled materials to reduce the carbon footprint, assembly quality to VW and Audi standards as well as a 10-inch digital screen on certain versions.
The multimedia system can rely, for the first time, on a large optional 13-inch screen.
The Octavia is also the first Skoda model to debut ChatGPT.
The standard equipment is also enriched with the adoption of ten airbags and a drowsiness detection system.

The range is based around four petrol engines and two diesels.
Powers range from 116 to 265 hp for the RS version.
The 150 hp version adopts 48V mild hybridization and the two 2.0 TSI engines see their power increase by up to 20 horsepower.
Depending on the engines and versions, the Octavia will be available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Plug-in hybrid versions will be launched later.
