A teacher at a secondary school in Parma was targeted, first with words and then by throwing a stone, by some of her seventh grade students on Friday as a wave of violence that has included the stabbing of a teacher by a student continued in Italian schools.
She told police that the small group first assaulted her with verbal insults during the lesson, and then followed her outside the school, continuing to taunt her.
At one point, a student allegedly threw a rock at her head, but the teacher managed to dodge it by a few centimeters, she said.
