Markt Schwaben is finally experiencing a move again and Ebersberg is getting its own royal couple.

District - In wonderful sunshine, things became loud, colorful and crowded again in Ebersberg city center.

The annual carnival parade is simply worth seeing, regardless of whether you have a thing for carnival or not.

Boys' clubs, carnival clubs and traditional costumers show their carnival floats, which they often work on for months.

Unlike last year, many political messages were missing.

Only the funeral of crafts and agriculture was symbolized as a coffin on a car and Björn Höcke danced through the parade on the basic law.

But as usual there was plenty for the eyes and ears.

Above all, the Eichhofen boys are once again out and about in “Mad Max style” with their booming thunder dome and real pillars of fire.

The Grafinger carnival bears presented one of the most beautiful floats.

They kidnapped to Peter Pan's Neverland.

New this year.

In addition to the Grafingen prince couple, the district town also had a carnival imperial couple with Sissi and Franz.

Travel around the world in Markt Schwaben

The first carnival parade took place in 1980 and now the Falkonia Carnival Society has revived the parade to mark its 25th anniversary.

Unfortunately, this project took place on February 11th in rain and cold.

But this couldn't stop the Swabian citizens - dressed up and in good spirits, they followed the procession as it moved around the market square under the motto "Journey around the world".

Led by the drum group Samba Sole Luna, the Falkonia carnival club gathered behind it with a safari car, the water rescue team with a Viking ship, the bowlers from FC Steinmeir (motto Ireland), the footballers from Schwabener Au and also the members of the tennis club (Wimbledon motto).

The veterans and reservists club came in Dutch costumes (including cheese) and the theater club had someone sitting on a wagon as the Statue of Liberty.

The gymnastics club chooses the Olympics in Paris (with penny farthings), the Kolping family chooses Ecuadorian costumes and the traditional costume club chooses Switzerland.

The finale was the “Burschen & Dirndl” as Falken-Air.

Afterwards everyone met in the market square, which was flanked by numerous stalls where people ate, drank and celebrated extensively to lively music.
