Today, Friday 16 February, the second National Day of Energy Saving and Sustainable Lifestyles is celebrated, established with law 34 of 2022.
The day coincides with the "M'illumino dimeno" initiative, organized since 2005 by the broadcast Caterpillar of Rai Radio 2, to celebrate the entry into force of the Kyoto Climate Protocol.
The day includes turning off the lights of public buildings, cycling, ecological walks and anti-waste dinners, acoustic concerts, candlelit training and tree planting.
Among others, the Quirinale, the Senate, Palazzo Chigi, the Bank of Italy, the French Embassy, ISPRA, the Polytechnic University of Milan and various Regions are participating in the initiative.
