The temperatures in Bavaria are climbing unabated, with the next record firmly in our sights - there is currently no sign of winter.
The weather in the Free State.
Munich – If you didn't look at the calendar, you would think that spring had already begun in Bavaria.
February so far has been characterized primarily by high temperatures, and if anything comes from the sky, it is usually rain instead of snow.
The next record is in danger of falling here too.
Spring weekend in Bavaria – DWD announces 16 degrees
A look at the weather forecasts from the German Weather Service (DWD) shows: In the next few days, temperatures will not fall below ten degrees, apart from at night.
On the contrary - in some cases they even reach the 15 degree mark in the Free State.
The coming weekend in Bavaria is expected to be very warm - while February is heading towards another weather record.

This already applies to Thursday, February 15th.
During the course of the day the temperatures in Munich rise to 14 degrees, in the north of Bavaria, around Würzburg, there are even 15 degrees, according to the meteorologists.
As expected, it will drop around ten degrees overnight before temperatures rise again on Friday, February 16th, just in time for the start of the weekend.
Once again it will be 14 degrees in Upper Bavaria around Munich, and in Franconia it will be 15 to 16 degrees.
Sun and clouds alternate in the sky.
There will be a small setback on Saturday, February 17th.
It will be rainy in large parts of Bavaria, with temperatures dropping to plus/minus ten degrees.
The exception is the north of the Free State; in Lower and Upper Franconia the temperatures remain at around 13 degrees and the sun is shining with light clouds.
On Sunday, February 18th, the sun will come out again throughout Bavaria with light clouds and temperatures will be around eleven degrees.

No sign of winter in Bavaria – the next record could fall
There is no snow in sight in the next few days either, the warning map from the German Weather Service shines in calm green.
Meteorologist Dominik Jung from
wetternet
takes a look at the entire month of February in Germany - and sees the next record falling.
So far, February, like several of the last few months, is the warmest since weather records began in 1881.

In general, it could get a little cooler again in the second half of February, but given the recent high temperatures, that should probably be enough for a high, possibly even record-high, average.
