A retired couple wanted to go out with their car in Merlo, but found that they had a flat tire.
Two bricklayers helped them change it and then another man approached.
He said he wanted to help them.
But the offer
turned out to be a deception
: when he saw them unprepared, he struggled with both of them,
stole their car and ran them over.
The new episode of insecurity occurred this Thursday, almost at 10:30 in the morning, and was recorded by security cameras.
Due to their injuries, the victims had to be taken to a hospital in the area: the man suffered a skull fracture, while the woman remains hospitalized with a
double hip fracture
.
She is stable, although she was kept under observation.

(76) were about to leave their house on Suipacha and Mendoza, in the center of Merlo, when they noticed a flat tire on their vehicle.
They asked two bricklayers working on the block for help, who quickly
helped them and they returned to their tasks.
Minutes later,
a third man approached and offered his collaboration

The couple responded that they had already solved the problem.
The man walked away, picked up the backpack that he had left on the sidewalk and approached the retirees again, who were loading the trunk of the car.
Then, the criminal surprised the victims.
He struggled with the woman, threw them both to the ground and got into the car.
The bricklayers tried to help them and prevent the robbery.
They managed to open the driver's door.
But the criminal put the car in reverse,
ran over the couple, left them lying in the street
and quickly escaped.
The workers provided first assistance to the retirees until the emergency teams arrived.
