Berlin - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has thanked the federal government and the German people for supporting his country, which was attacked by Russia.

Another arms package for Ukraine

The Ukrainian president praised the previously concluded bilateral security agreement and a newly put together military aid package that includes additional howitzers, artillery ammunition, air defense systems and Iris-T missiles.

“We need this right now,” he said.

These are weapons that his country desperately needs.

Unfortunately, there is a decline in deliveries from other partners.

“German support is vital for us, for our fighters at the front.”
