In a daycare center, parents are often informed about current developments via notices.

One facility had to deal with several problems at once.

Leipzig – Anyone who has small children who are not yet of school age can have them looked after in a daycare center (Kita).

However, many cities have problems accommodating all children in such a facility.

There is also a lack of thousands of daycare places in Munich.

Some parents in Leipzig don't have this problem; they were able to get a place at a daycare center there.

However, this obviously has to contend with an issue that is certainly familiar to fathers and mothers: childhood illnesses.

But that's not all.

Daycare notice is irritating on several levels – “It can’t possibly be everything at the same time”

Parents with children of preschool age know only too well: If a virus or an infectious disease is circulating in the daycare center, extreme caution is required.

It is not always possible to avoid your own son or daughter getting hit.

The risk of infection is usually high for small children in daycare.

A snapshot from a daycare center was published on the “Notes of Germany” Instagram account.

The picture was therefore taken in Leipzig.

“A little bit of everything,” the post said.

And that was a good fit.

Several pieces of paper hung on a board with a wooden border.

The first of the four notices was placed at the top left.

It was written there: “Dear parents, due to our educational day, the daycare center will be closed next Monday.” In the comment column under the Instagram post, several users commented on the linguistically expandable nature of the wording.

“Dear parents...” – Kita warns with four pieces of paper and causes discussions

“I would be in favor of introducing a grammatical tag,” joked one user.

“Let’s talk briefly about the genitive at the educational day?” another joked.

Meanwhile, another user didn't want to let these mocking comments stand.

And defended the educators at the facility: “Everyone understands what it says.” Some other users did not want to comment on the linguistic lapse on the note with too much ridicule and derision.

But it also said: “Nevertheless, people who teach children something in a certain way should know the German language.”

But that wasn't the only notice that caused discussion under the Instagram post.

Rather, the other three of the four pieces of paper caused a stir.

First it read: “Dear parents, cases of gastrointestinal infection have occurred in our facility.” Followed by: “Dear parents, a case of scarlet fever has occurred in our facility.” And as if that wasn’t enough : “Dear parents, a case of mouth rot has occurred in our facility.” In the Leipzig daycare center, the parents and their offspring had to survive a whole wave of diseases and pathogens.

Notes sent to daycare centers warn parents of a wave of illness: “What is mouth rot?”

“It’s impossible that everything can be current at the same time,” said one user in surprise.

“It’s everyday life in kindergarten, we currently have gastrointestinal problems, conjunctivitis, hand-mouth-foot and corona,” replied another.

“It won’t get any better in elementary school,” another user gave little hope.

Nevertheless, the cases of illness in Leipzig may have occurred gradually; the large number of notes suggests this.

Things got really tough for a daycare center in Leipzig: several cases of illness caused problems for parents, teachers and children at the same time.

“What is mouth rot?” another user wanted to know.

“Herpes infection in children,” one user correctly explained.

According to Ergo Insurance, “babies and small children up to the age of 5 are particularly often affected”.

In contrast, adults are affected by mouth rot “only in rare cases” and usually only after the immune system has been weakened.

We can only hope that parents, teachers and children in the Leipzig daycare center have now survived the illness without any damage.

A smoker recently tried to deal with a completely different problem.

She left a note on a mailbox with a desperate request.

Not everyone understood that.
