Last year, a 22-year-old harassed a 20-year-old at the Maibaumstüberl in Moosinning.

He now has to pay a fine of 3,500 euros.

Moosinning – Actually, a few guys from Hallbergmoos (Freising district) were aiming for the maypole at a party in Moosinning last April.

But when a 22-year-old among them came up with very stupid ideas, the focus of the evening was completely different.

In the Maibaumstüberl, the young man is said to have approached a 20-year-old from the Munich district, harassed her and groped her.

He denied this before the Erding district court. He was nevertheless convicted.

The young woman had taken a detour from the outside of the tent back from the toilet.

Suddenly the Hallbergmooser stood very close to her, laughed “dirty” and grabbed her leg and buttocks.

She couldn't avoid it at that moment, but asked the man several times to stop.

When her cell phone rang, the attacker let go of her and disappeared.

The woman reported that she and her boyfriend looked for the perpetrator and later found them.

There was a brief argument between the two men, then her boyfriend called the police.

Since the incident, the victim has suffered psychologically, has nightmares and sometimes feels uncomfortable when her boyfriend gets too close to her.

She photographed slight redness on her body immediately after the crime and presented it to the court.

There were no other eyewitnesses.

But shortly after the attack, the victim was found by her boyfriend and other friends - crying and upset.

She also appeared shaken at the court hearing.

Despite open questions, Judge Thomas Bauer found the witness statements sufficient to convict.

The injured party testified credibly and without incrimination and was able to describe the perpetrator well immediately after the incident without having known him before.

The now 22-year-old now has to pay a fine of 3,500 euros (70 daily rates).

The Hallbergmoosers were later unable to steal the maypole; the boys from Unterföhring managed to do so.
