The financial assets held by Italianhouseholds grew by nearly 80 billion euros in 2023 to reach 5,216billion euros, the autonomous federation of Italian bank workers (FABI) said on Saturday.
This is some 552 billion euros more than in 2019, ie before the Covid 19 pandemic, added FABI.
In its analysis the federation confirms the propensity to savebut says Italians are now also more prepared to take financial risks by putting their money into shares, bonds and investment funds.
