The council in Münsing rejected building applications for two more halls from the Agrobs company near Degerndorf and want to continue pursuing the development plan process.
Münsing – Two building applications for two additional warehouse and production halls from Agrobs near Degerndorf once again caused a stir at the most recent local council meeting:
Again, a decision was to be made on this, and again these were rejected by the Münsingen committee - with ten votes to five.
Münsing: Development plan process is being pursued - Agrob's plans for Rauscherhof are further delayed
Why?
The councils are sticking to pursuing the development plan process that was initiated last summer.
At that time, the feed manufacturer submitted building applications for the first time using the emission control process for a sixth and seventh hall, each with a floor area of 50 by 30 meters.
And even then these were rejected by the Münsingen council.
At the same time, the council members made a decision to draw up a development plan and issued a ban on changes.
Building applications from Agrobs were again rejected by the Münsingen local council
And from the perspective of the district office, this was exactly what was illegal, Mayor Michael Grasl (FW) explained why the building applications are once again on the table in Münsing.
The district authority has not yet been able to provide a statement on this matter to Rundschauverlag, “since the proceedings are still ongoing, we are not commenting.”
The Münsingen committee also voted at the meeting on whether or not an exception to the change ban should be permitted.
There will be no exception.
This is what the councilors decided and followed the recommendations of the local government.
Münsing: According to Mayor Michael Grasl, a municipality's planning sovereignty is important
With this decision, the town hall boss is relying on the municipality's planning sovereignty.
Because the district office cannot simply ignore the community.
“If we were onlookers, we would no longer have anything to approve,” emphasized Grasl.
Ultimately, the building applications are of a magnitude that needs to be discussed sensibly and various factors must be carefully weighed up.
“Of course the municipality also wants to take into account the concerns of the public and the company,” he said, and “are therefore also in discussions with the management.”

Münsing: Feed manufacturer Agrobs in dialogue
Thomas Berger, authorized representative of the Agrob company, confirmed this: “We regularly seek and conduct dialogue with the municipality and district office in order to enable the long-term development of our company.”
The company is of course sticking to the plan and assumes that it will receive further information soon.
“We are very excited to see how things will continue and hope for clarification soon and a positive outlook for our location.”
