The amphibians are in the starting blocks.
As soon as it is at least four to five degrees several nights in a row, toads, frogs and newts head back to their spawning waters.
Fürstenfeldbruck – Because they also have to cross streets, there will be restrictions for drivers.
The district office points this out.
This affects the routes between Alling and Germannsberg and between Weiherhaus and Pfaffing.
There are nighttime roadblocks there.
Eichenau and Puchheim are also affected.
There, Olchinger Straße between Ihleweg (Puchheim) and Zweigstraße (Eichenau) is closed at night.
A diversion will be set up.
At the Dötelbauer
There are no barriers in Grafrath.
However, the speed limit on Bahnhofstrasse is 30. You also have to drive more slowly between Germering and Alling in the Dötelbauer area.
Bus routes are also affected by restrictions.
Bus line 838 will not run the route between Glonn (Aichach-Friedberg district) and Vogach in the evenings from 7 p.m. (winter time) or 8 p.m. (summer time).
There is heavy amphibian migration on this stretch of road.
Short-term information
When exactly the roads will be closed and the speed limits will apply depends on when the amphibians set off.
The district office will therefore provide information at short notice.
Because not all animals can be protected through measures, the authority asks drivers to be more vigilant during the hike.
This is also in the own interest of the road users.
Because amphibians that were run over increased the risk of skidding.
