The so-called small lake promenade in Starnberg has been closed since the end of last year due to storm damage.
Now they are drilling there.
Starnberg
- The so-called small lake promenade between See train station and Undosa in Starnberg, which was damaged by storms and high water levels, will be examined in more detail next Monday, February 19th.
As the city administration announced on Friday, the Blasy-Mader specialist office will carry out several core drillings in the concrete of the sea wall to determine the extent of the damage.
The Christmas storm damaged around 64 meters of the promenade.
It was partially washed out and granite slabs of the wall covering were torn from their anchoring.
“Since then, these have been lying more or less loosely on the wall and partly in the lake,” said Sarah Döringer from the city administration in the statement.
The section has since been cordoned off with construction fences.
How complex the repair will be remains to be seen.
The lake promenade had already made headlines last year - because of its security.
