Netanyahu: "There is a date for the elections - a few more years"/Leam
A suspicious envelope was located this evening (Sunday) after it arrived at Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's office - after tell-tale signs were discovered during the screening phase of the security check.
His office stated that it was neutralized and that there was no danger to those present at the scene.
In July, a young man from Kfar Saba was arrested on suspicion of placing the threatening letter against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the grave of his brother, Yoni Netanyahu, on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
The young man, 26 years old, was arrested by the officers of the cyber unit in Lahab 433 at the end of a joint investigation with the Shin Bet, a day after receiving the report on the letter. At the end of the investigation and in accordance with its findings, the suspect will be brought to a hearing on the extension of his detention at the Peace Court in Rishon Lezion.
The letter was found on Yoni Netanyahu's grave by the workers of the Mount Herzl site.
Among other things, it says, "The clock is ticking back until the 28th of Tishrei Tashpad when your brother, the son of Z*** (as the letter says) thinks he will reach the age of 74 - to be clear, this is a first-degree threat."

The threatening letter also stated, "Bibi, you are no better than Eric Sharon. Eric Sharon had a stroke and was in a coma for eight years. I wish worse things for you. Your tasks are: a. to conquer Gaza, b. to bring back the body of my guide Hadar Goldin and the other captives. The clock is ticking back. You have more than three and a half months left."
At the beginning of the week, the state memorial ceremony for Yoni Netanyahu took place at the Mount Herzl cemetery in Jerusalem, on the 47th anniversary of his death in the Entebbe operation.
Last week, a Beit Shemesh resident in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of threatening Netanyahu.
This, after he wrote in a WhatsApp group of right-wing activists "that everyone should carry a weapon and hit Bibi with a bullet in the head. Whoever wants to buy a weapon should send a message - that the law is about our lives and we are not interested."
The police are investigating the case.
