Die Amigos singer Karl-Heinz Ulrich mourns his wife Doris, who died as a result of cancer.
But there is a ray of hope.
Villingen/Hesse – Karl-Heinz Ulrich (75) is going through a difficult time: The pop star, who became famous with the duo Die Amigos, lost his wife Doris in mid-January.
At the age of 71, she lost her battle with cancer and fell asleep peacefully surrounded by her family.
But she received one nice message before her death - and it makes the musician smile again despite his sadness.

On February 14, 2024, Doris Ulrich was buried in her hometown of Villingen, Hesse.
In an obituary, Karl-Heinz Ulrich spoke emotionally about his wife.
During these difficult times, the Amigos star is primarily dependent on the support of his family.
Above all, his children are a rock to him.
His son Mario (38) even has a message that makes it possible to look positively into the future despite the sadness.

His younger son lives in the house next door and will soon become a father again.
“It will be a girl, my first granddaughter.
A gift that I’m really looking forward to,” reveals Karl-Heinz Ulrich in an interview

It is still difficult for him to show his joy - but in a certain way the child will always remind him of his wife.
“She should be called almost like my Doris, my son says she should be called Malia Dori,” he says happily.

What gives the singer strength - his wife also received the news before her death that children were on the way.
She was therefore able to leave the world knowing that her family would grow larger.
Her loss hurts Karl-Heinz Ulrich deeply - and he deals with it quite openly.
“I miss her so much!
I would love to bury myself.
“It’s not easy for me,” he says in an interview.

The Die Amigos star now also has problems in the household.
“Doris always did so much for me.
Also threw out the whole household.
I have to learn everything now.
How the dishwasher works, how the washing machine works,” he admits.
Amigos star Bernd is also devastated after his sister-in-law died of cancer.
