treated in provincial hospitals and health centers.
If implemented, the measure would be part of the
cuts that Governor Gustavo Sáenz faced
in December due to the stoppage in the transfer of funds established by Casa Rosada.
The information was advanced by the Minister of Health of Salta,
Federico Mangione,
in statements made to a local media and reported by the newspaper
El Tribuno.
"The province is going to prioritize care for Salteños,
and that is why we are analyzing applying the charge for medical care to all foreigners
,
" the minister warned.

In this way, he confirmed that they are analyzing charging foreigners who require assistance in provincial hospitals
in line with common practices in other countries on the continent.
