Evening of chaos on the RN20 in Essonne.
A pileup between four cars, undoubtedly caused by the presence of oil on the road, left one seriously injured, a 2-year-old child, who was rushed to hospital in an absolute emergency.
It was around 8 p.m. when the 91 firefighters (around twenty in total) intervened on the national road, near Étrechy.
An accident has just occurred, four vehicles collided.
In one of the cars there is a 2 year old child.
Incarcerated in the passenger compartment, seriously injured, the little boy was extracted by the rescuers, assisted by emergency workers from the SMUR in Arpajon.
The child is then evacuated as an absolute emergency to Necker hospital.
His vital prognosis is in jeopardy.

At the same time, firefighters are treating two other victims, whose state of health was being assessed at the time of writing.
Oil leak on the road
According to the first elements collected, the accident was caused by the significant presence of oil on the road.
In fact, shortly before this pileup, another accident, near Arpajon this time and not serious, occurred and caused a significant oil leak.
The oil then spread over several kilometers on the RN20.
Traffic has been completely cut off in the Paris-Province direction from Arpajon, and regulated to a single lane towards the capital.
It is advisable to avoid the area.
