The attorney and close friend of former Supreme Court judge
Eugenio Zaffaroni
was found dead in the bathroom of the former magistrate's apartment, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Flores.
The discovery was made by a maid who worked there.
The
employee contacted 911 around noon
to report the presence of an elderly man in an unconscious state in the bathroom of the apartment located at 934 Boyacá Avenue, according to the City Police.
Given that call, personnel from the Neighborhood 7C police station went to the place where it was found that the man was dead.
The police also found Zaffaroni at the home, who assured that
he lived there with the deceased person whom he defined as his “close friend.”
The man was identified as
Ricardo Montivero
and, according to the Buenos Aires police,
he had fainted in the bathtub when he was taking a bath
.
The death was confirmed by SAME doctors who attended the scene.
In 2013, Montivero's name had already been in the news when, as Zaffaroni's attorney, he had paid a fine to end the criminal case that had been initiated against the former Supreme Court judge for the brothels that operated in different departments of his property.
