The place is in Transylvania.
The home of Vlad Tepes, the famous Dracula.
If that load of history and mystery were not enough, a forest can be added to the area: Hoia-Baciu, also called
the Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania.
The forest is located west of the city of Cluj-Napoca and excavations have proven that 10,000 years ago
a civilization lived there
.
The stories and legends about it have made it a place shrouded in mystery despite its
3 square kilometers of surface.
What are those mysteries?
The list is long and includes everything.

The phenomenon of lost time
would occur in it
.
Many of those who have entered the forest have lost track of time and when they leave believing they have been there for a few minutes, they have actually been lost
for hours or days
.
The best example was that of a 5-year-old girl who disappeared in the forest.
She reappeared 5 years later
without any transformation:
same clothes, same face and body
.
She hadn't grown up.
Time stopped for her, who believed that she had only left her house for a few minutes.
In 1970, a woman and her 10-year-old son were walking through the woods as dusk fell.
Suddenly they felt a strong chill and a great fog surrounded them.
They lost consciousness and
woke up in their house.

A member of the troupe was sent flying through the air and strange wounds appeared on his arms.
Being called the "Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania" is justified.
In 1965,
a shepherd and his flock of 200 sheep
wandered into the forest and
disappeared without a trace.
From that moment Hoia Baciu had a second name.
People come out of the forest with strange marks
Many of those who enter the forest leave it with strange symptoms:
anxiety, nausea,
headaches.
And something inexplicable:
small burns,
small blisters or skin rashes.

In 1953, an engineer and renowned biologist, Alexandru Sift, went to the place.
For days and days he went in and out of the forest taking photographs of the place.
Nothing seemed strange to him, except that
when developing them, shadows, ghosts and strange things appeared
that he did not see when he took the photos.
And then there are UFOs.
Since the early '60s there have been many sightings.
And there is proof that seems irrefutable.
On the summer afternoon of August 18, 1968
(a splendid day, without wind and around 36ºC)
, the military technician Emil Barnea and his girlfriend, Zamfira Mattea, despite repeated warnings from the local people who told him Since they didn't,
they decided to spend a couple of days in the forest
with a tent.
That August 18, Emil was gathering firewood since as night fell, and despite it being summer,
the place can reach temperatures below zero.

Suddenly Emil heard his girlfriend scream and ran towards the tent.
And he saw the incredible:
in the sky a metallic disk shone
dazzlingly and floated above the trees.
He suddenly began violent turns changing direction.
Its shine grew and then disappeared, revealing that it was
metallic silver
.
Suddenly he disappeared like a flash of lightning.
But before he left he was immortalized.
Emil took his camera out of the tent and
shot 4 times.
And he recorded the presence of the UFO.
A UFO sighting in the woods.
Dozens of them were registered (Facebook).
The sightings never stopped happening.
In 2002,
a couple managed to film almost thirty seconds of video
from their apartment on the top floor of a building in the city of Cluj, neighboring the forest.
The object was "cigarette-shaped"
and glowed brightly as it moved over the treetops.
He then disappeared into "thick clouds" in the night sky.
In 2007 another sighting was recorded, this time in the middle of the afternoon.
An amateur photographer took
30 photos and in one of them a strange object appeared.
It was a UFO.
An aura that appeared out of nowhere in the forest (Facebook).
And the locals believe that the nearly
1,000 disappearances
that occurred in the forest are products of UFOs that descend on the area and
abduct human beings
for unknown purposes.
But the extraterrestrial presences in the forest are not the only ones.
The paranormal also floats.
Many have seen
"shadow people",
strange shapes and the
laughter of girls and women.

Given all this, a television program
"Destination Truth"
decided to enter the mysterious forest.
One of the team members, Evan,
was
suddenly attacked while he was sitting on the floor.
After the appearance of a "sudden flash of light", the boy flew several meters and
his arms suffered several injuries
even though he was wearing a long-sleeved shirt and none of them suffered a scratch.
The only thing Evan remembered was that before flying through the air he felt
"female voices in a strange language coming from behind him."
And to top it off, there is "The Circle"
In
the center of the forest there is
a "dead zone"
.
It is a strange circle where vegetation and trees
do not grow
.
The samples they took of the soil do not show anything harmful, but for inexplicable reasons nothing grows inside this circular piece of land.
Opinion is varied: does
a portal to another world
open in this piece of land?
Could it once have been some kind of ritual area?
Did a disk-shaped UFO land there?

The local peasants give another explanation: a settlement of peasants once existed there, but
they were massacred
by a group of murderers from another region.
The spirits of the peasants remained there and
reappear when strangers arrive.
Some sound recordings at the scene captured strange and threatening voices, using
an unknown language or dialect.
Dr. Adrian Patrut, president of the Romanian Society of Parapsychology, has no doubts: "Some experts believe that this is a real Romanian Bermuda Triangle. The area can be certified as such, especially by exceptional videos and photos, together to testimonies from researchers who have studied it for decades.

The problem is often being able to investigate.
Those who try to take photographs with digital equipment
fail
.
They come out black.
At certain times, it is impossible to photograph or record anything, and many electronic equipment
stops working.
Worse is what happened to journalist Cristian Muresau, who tells it: "We had equipment to detect radiation. When we arrived at a specific area, the needle indicated very high values. We found that
the radiation was in the air
and varied with the wind "I was in the most active focus of the radiation for
13 minutes
. Days later my clothes and my body retained the radiation.
Some of my hair fell out
and I had health problems. In six months I aged ten years."
Much of the vegetation shows strange shapes and some plants like this one grow from among the stones (Facebook).
Not only humans suffer.
Much of the vegetation shows a strange dehydration.
There are areas where suddenly, overnight,
charred trees
appear , or with stems or leaves with necrosis.
And not to mention the shape of the trees that appear twisted and give the forest a more terrifying appearance.
All that and more happens in Hoia Baciu, the most terrifying forest in the world.
What goes into it can come out with disorders.
They're lucky.
Some never come out again...
