From "Peking Express"/Network 13
Less than a week after the launch, it appears that the reality show of the 13 network Peking Express is following the path of previous reality shows on the channel that failed commercially.
Yesterday (Saturday) the third episode of the program achieved 8% viewing from Jewish households only - this compared to 18.5% for Keshet 12's MKR winning kitchen which achieved 18.5%.
The launch episode at the beginning of the week ended with the new reality show of Reshet with 11.3% and lost to Keshet's winning kitchen which was then launched head to head with 15%.
The reason for stating that it is possible that the show will no longer be able to reach the 15% goal - the minimum that allows commercial non-loss in the genre, is that the tendency in reality is to lose viewers during the season, and not to gain.
Therefore, most of the time, the launches are high, and that's where the spillover starts.
Not in this case, as mentioned.
