PESCHICI - The Gargano town of Peschici will be the first seaside resort in Italy to adopt systemic digitalisation.
The municipal administration announced the news, underlining that it is "an innovative project that will allow us to network and make the town more accessible to tourists too".
The Peschici Up platform, created by digital entrepreneur Moreno Tartaglini, brings together shops, artisan activities, companies and tourism operators, citizens themselves and tourists.
"Anyone who accesses Peschici Up, in fact, will be able to get information, buy, pay, play, vote, book and much more" underlined the tourism councilor Anna Rita Delle Muti, who reiterated "how the innovative project was proposed in Peschici , the first seaside resort in Italy, after the activation in Biella".
As early as Easter, the platform "will be able to be used - concludes the councilor - by tourists who are visiting Peschici. A monitor will be placed in Piazza Pertini and the tourist will scan the QR Code with his mobile phone and will be able to download the easy-to-access platform for anyone, even those less accustomed to using a digital camera".
