A serious accident near Oberpframmern (Ebersberg district) ends lightly for those involved.
The cause was probably a moment of carelessness.
Oberpframmern
- A serious accident occurred near Oberpframmern, apparently due to a driving error, in which three people were injured on Saturday, February 17th;
including a pregnant woman.
After a head-on collision: the third vehicle can no longer brake
According to Ebersberg police, a 41-year-old Ukrainian living in Romania had, according to initial findings, strayed into the oncoming lane with his Ford Focus on the St2081 between Aich and Oberpframmern.
There was a head-on collision with the Ford Ranger of a 27-year-old from the Ebersberg district.
A VW Tiguan driver driving behind the person suspected of causing the accident was no longer able to brake and also collided with the Ford Ranger pickup truck.
Three injured, three cars totaled
Fortunately, the three drivers and the pregnant passenger of the Focus driver were only slightly injured and were taken to nearby hospitals, the police wrote in their follow-up report.
The three vehicles had to be towed away, all of which were totaled.
The investigators estimate this at 60,000 euros.

The state highway remained closed for around an hour and a half to investigate the accident.
The police have initiated investigations and criminal proceedings for dangerous interference in road traffic.
