As the Paris Olympics approach and after the two attacks at the end of last year, the State is displaying its firmness in the face of the jihadist threat.
In particular by increasing the number of expulsions from French territory of individuals deemed dangerous, a procedure always feared by Islamists.
According to a recent report from the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI), of which
Le Figaro
has taken note, 44 “objectives” of this intelligence service, leader of the fight against terrorism in France, were targeted by a measure of remoteness and left French territory in 2023. An increase of 26% compared to 2022.
Of these 44 foreign people (some of whom were stripped of their nationality) who left France, we can distinguish three types of profiles.
The first brings together individuals identified in the context of files relating to recent threats and processed by an intelligence service.
