The lifting figures that could be seen at the young talent show dance festival in Nandlstadt reached up to the roof of the hop hall.

Nandlstadt

– Visitors to the young talent show dance festival experienced a real feast for the eyes on Saturday in the Nandlstadt Hopfenhalle.

For the tenth time, the local “Dancing Angels” invited people to this superlative event, where the stage floor was shaking from 9:30 a.m. onwards.

A week after the carnival finale, the groups were in top form.

Especially late at night, the spectators experienced a real fireworks display with the performances of the professional show dance groups from Neustadt, Gaimersheim and Furth.

The start was already well attended.

On behalf of the organizer, Angels boss Jens Uwe Klein welcomed Nandlstadt Mayor Gerhard Betz, and he also welcomed the numerous helpers in front of and behind the stage who made the festival fun possible - including numerous bakers who served 70 tarts, cakes and slices.

Klein's words were followed by actions on stage.

The ordering of the groups was planned so that the younger formations were allowed to swing their legs first.

So the youngest people had their turn first, including the “minis” of the Dancing Angels.

The enthusiasm of the two dozen dancers aged six to eleven years old was written on their faces as they conjured up the rehearsed steps and mini-lifting figures of trainers Stella Kaiser, Doris Tafelmaier and Sophie Bauer onto the dance floor.

There was a full house in the Hopfenhalle on Saturday.

The audience celebrated the performances of the show dance groups frantically.

The dance groups from Furth, Altheim, Meilenhofen, Taufkirchen, Wartenberg, Pfaffenhofen, Pfeffenhausen, Vilsbiburg, Mirskofen, Gaimersheim and Irgetsheim proved that good work is being done elsewhere for young talent.

Of the carnival societies, Narrhalla Attenkirchen accepted the invitation to Nandlstadt, which took part in the program with a march for children and teenagers as well as a show for adults.

Despite being accepted, Narrhalla Zolling was missing and stayed away from the event despite several attempts to contact us.

The Narrenrat from Oberschleißheim had already canceled two groups in advance, but that didn't dampen the mood.

Rather, the “gaps” provided the groups and the audience with a breather – and time for culinary delights.

While the kitchen was in the hands of Oberbräu landlord Ewald Zechner, the Angels helpers took over the sale of drinks and provided the “sweet moments” in the hop hall.

What was particularly nice about the show dance festival was that each group had its own personal style, which varied from clothing and group size to very extravagant figures such as the pyramid of the Viva Teens from Meilenhofen.

As the event went on, it gained more and more momentum, crowned by the performance of the Showfunken from Furth.

The latter group in particular, which was actually founded in Taufkirchen and has merged with United Stars since 2017, made visitors' hearts beat faster - some of the lifting figures came quite close to the ceiling of the hop hall.

The young fans came up to the stage ramp to watch the performances – like the “Bambinis” from Gaimersheim here.

Jens Uwe Klein drew an extremely positive conclusion about the anniversary event.

While the event was usually always on Sunday, the change to Saturday proved to be quite positive, as it meant the helpers could still enjoy Saturday evening and use Sunday as a stress-free “clean-up day”.
