During her “Riverboat” talk, actress Stephanie Stumph suddenly becomes very emotional because she is confronted with photos from her past and recently deceased confidants.
Leipzig – Actress Stephanie Stumph (39) and fellow actor Tom Wlaschiha (50) will be leading the 16th Dresden Semper Opera Ball together on February 23rd.
To talk about it, they visited the MDR talk show “Riverboat” – but the “Bergretter” actress suddenly had to deal with a completely different topic.

The actress actually keeps a very low profile when it comes to her private life: fans were even more surprised when Stephanie Stumph talked about the birth of her child on Instagram.

As a native of Dresden, Stephanie Stumph has a special connection to the Semper Opera Ball and she says that she has visited it many times throughout her life.
Meanwhile, the production plays past photos of the actress at the ball: sometimes accompanied by her mother, dancing with her father or even with the recently deceased opera singer Gunther Emmerlich (†79), whereupon the actress becomes very emotional: “Oh, Gunther Emmerlich, that makes my heart open.

Shortly before his death, Gunther Emmerlich was a guest on MDR's “Riverboat,” which is why the topic was very close to Kim Fischer's heart.
The opera singer's death also left its mark on other TV greats: pop icon Florian Silbereisen (42) expressed his condolences online and said goodbye to Gunther Emmerlich.
