There is an air of an abandoned park when we arrive in the alleys of Winnoland this Saturday afternoon.
The Essonne amusement park, popular with families looking for thrills, is deserted.
The Ferris wheel as if asleep, soon rusty.
After months of closure, nature has even (a little) regained its rights in places.
Only the farmyard animals give life to the whole.
You have to go a little further, towards the main restaurant of the park, to find humans.
The entire Winnoland support team is there.
And for good reason: February 17 marks the start of the recruitment campaign for the season ahead.
More than 100 positions to be filled in a festive setting: this is the promise of the amusement park, the department's leading leisure venue, located in Saint-Pierre-du-Perray, south of Corbeil-Essonnes.
It is due to open its doors on Saturday March 30.
“We received the first candidates this morning, it’s off to a good start,” smiles Steeve Varinou, responsible for the entertainment section.
