Almost a year after they were caught in Israel with 15 million shekels worth of drugs and shocked an entire country, the prosecutor's office is expected to announce today (Monday) that a plea agreement has been reached with the four young women at the center of what was called the "smuggling case". In accordance with the settlement. The mother of the accused Idan Zaover told Walla! before the hearing that "they came from a good home and now they have learned their lesson."
In January of last year, a special detective unit of the Nabvi region foiled a huge smuggling of more than 15 kg of cocaine and ketamine worth millions of shekels. The police arrested four young women living in the center in their 20s - Idan Zaover, Lee Poni, Oral Ben Haim and Arbel Mizrahi on suspicion of trafficking, importing and exporting the drugs. The police followed two of them along the route of their entry into Israel, from the airplane sleeve, through passport control to baggage collection.
Dalia, Zauber's mother, also shared with Walla! that she hopes that the four young women "will continue to go through the rehabilitation process as they have gone through until now.

During the inspection of the luggage of three of the suspects, the police detectives revealed the large amount of drugs, which were hidden in shampoo bottles and boxes of health food supplements.

Another suspect who was on the flight was arrested outside the airport with her partner and another suspect, who allegedly tried to hide the drugs.

The police discovered the targets of the drug importation based on correspondence between the four girls.
Among other things, it turned out that each of them brought between 4-5 kg of drugs with each import. In addition, each of them allegedly used the drugs themselves in the amount of hundreds of thousands of shekels, and each of them received tens of thousands of shekels for each import, and they did not always receive Full payment for their actions.
Since the initial arrest, a total of 16 drug dealers have been arrested. The correspondence carried out by the young women was both free and using codes. "They come from normative families," said the police official. They became a very close group that celebrates and hangs out together."
