Markus Söder is now also known for his food photos, which are often - but not always - very meat-heavy.

Not so on the edge of the Siko.

Munich - The Munich Security Conference ended on Sunday, February 18th.

Markus Söder was also there; on Thursday he welcomed, among others, Vice President of the USA, Kamala Harris, at the airport and caused a stir with his gift.

The event with political celebrities from all over the world discussed difficult topics such as the war in Ukraine or the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Maybe Markus Söder wanted to lighten that up with one of his Instagram posts because he showed what was for lunch.

“Reinvigoration during a short break at Siko: #söderisst fries red and white.

It has to be done sometimes,” says the CSU boss and asks: “Ketchup or mayo – which do you like better?”

Surprise after photo: “Without Nuremberg sausage???”

“Söder eats vegetarian,” someone says, because otherwise Söder often shows pictures of his more meat-heavy dishes.

“Without Nuremberg sausage???” asks a shocked follower.

After all, Söder himself once said that a life without brawurst was possible, but pointless.

“I eat everything that Maggus gives me,” another person commented on the post.

Some also answer the question asked by Söder and name ketchup or mayo as their favorite.

Another person, however, thinks that Söder made the perfect decision: “Red and white is exactly right.

Greetings from the Ruhr area.” And in the comments, as is so often the case, things get political: “It’s better to have red-white instead of red-green,” says someone, and another person says: “It tastes best with democracy.”

12,000 likes and 500 comments accumulated under the Söder photo within a day.
