In Colombes, everyone knows Jeun'Espoir.
However, for the first time in nine years, no young Colombian will benefit from his commando sessions to prepare for the patent or baccalaureate.
The association closed its doors at the end of December 2023. “It was a great experience but it’s time to stop,” sighs Samia El Bouche.
According to the founder of Jeun'Espoir, "everything has become too complicated, too heavy", even for a structure which has managed to mobilize hundreds of young people for certain events.
“Around ten years ago, I was already in associations, particularly for academic support,” remembers Samia El Bouche.
My cell phone number started to circulate and I set up Jeun'Espoir, focused on academic success.
I was 21 years old.
» The young woman grew up in Colombes and did all her schooling there.
With her scientific baccalaureate in hand, she obtained a degree in chemistry and a master's degree in chemical engineering in Jussieu then taught physics and chemistry for a few years, until the health crisis.
