A 'lost' and recently rediscovered painting of Romeo and Juliet has gone on show at Juliet's House in Verona.
The 1838 work by Venetian neoclassical artist Cosroe Dusi shows the first nocturnal meeting of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers in the home of the young Capulet.
The large (218x164cm) painting Hi Lu has been bought by the foundation that runs the House and has become part of its permanent collection.
The painting, which is said to be in perfect condition, shows Romeo embracing Juliet on a balcony.
