Jonathan Daval may be in prison, but the "affair" is experiencing a new twist: Jonathan Daval's lawyer, Me Randall Schwerdorffer, has just filed a complaint for "defamation" against the family of his client's ex-wife,
Le Figaro
learned
from a judicial source, confirming information from RTL.
In this complaint that
Le Figaro
was able to consult, the murderer of Alexia Fouillot calls into question the comments made by his former in-laws in a series produced by Canal+, “
Alexia, autopsy of a feminicide
”.
A documentary inspired by the book written by the Fouillot couple, “
Alexia, our daughter
”.

The condemned man's counsel criticizes in particular certain sentences broadcast in episode 4. In this final part, we see the mother of the deceased, Isabelle Fouillot, and her sister, Stéphanie Gay, relaying the hypothesis of poisoning.
Alexia, killed by Jonathan Daval in October 2017, was allegedly drugged without his knowledge.
The poisoning theory
“
She was not well, she did not realize that he drugged her
[sic],” Alexia’s mother maintains in this documentary.
A theory of poisoning which had already been supported during the trial of Jonathan Daval by the lawyer of Alexia's godfather, Me Caty Richard.
During her pleading, the criminal lawyer affirmed that, according to her, Jonathan Daval had regularly chemically subjected Alexia to avoid having sexual relations with her.
According to Mr. Richard, Jonathan Daval could very well have obtained Tramadol [medication available only by prescription and prescribed after, in particular, painful surgery or pain not relieved by paracetamol Editor's note] from his father-in-law.
The latter regularly saw a rheumatologist, and the practitioner could have prescribed this type of medication, supports the criminal lawyer.
“
Alexia wanted to get pregnant, she took eggs to have a baby: never on her own would she have taken such a strong molecule when she wanted a child
,” explains to
Figaro
Me Richard.
“
Alexia suspected that something was wrong: shortly before the incident she carried out a Google search on what could cause discomfort.
She wonders in particular about the side effects of goji berries.
It’s not a coincidence
,” continues the lawyer.
For Me Schwerdorffer, this would be an aberration, since his client was sentenced on November 21, 2020 to 25 years in prison not for poisoning - which would induce premeditation and therefore murder - but for intentional homicide, which excludes premeditation.
Furthermore, Jonathan Daval has never been indicted for administering toxic substances or poisoning.
