The Grand Hotel "La Sonrisa", better known as "Il Castello delle Cerimonie", from the TV show of the same name, confiscated and entrusted to the municipality of Sant'Antonio Abate, is suffering a rain of cancellations of reservations by married couples who from here in the summer they dreamed of celebrating their wedding in the famous restaurant-hotel.
The economic damage is considerable, even for customers who have already sent invitations to relatives and friends.
But in addition to the betrothed - who persistently call the reception - it is above all the approximately 150 employees, both permanent and seasonal, who fear for their future also in consideration of the significant income that revolves around the princely ceremonies that the "Castle" organises.
Since 8 they have been gathered in the hotel from which they moved to the address of the Municipality of Sant'Antonio Abate, to ask that one of their delegations be received by the mayor Ilaria Abagnale to whom they intend to express their concerns and the request to take action to ensure that 'hotel continuity of work which represents, for Sant'Antonio Abate, an important source of income for around 300 families.
