Once again a “crime scene” is thrown overboard.
The Dortmund crime thriller says goodbye to Rick Okon and welcomes a new face.
Dortmund – Rick Okon (34) is history at the Dortmund “crime scene”.
The actor played the role of Inspector Jan Pawlak for six years.
His last case has now been broadcast and there will be no more.
Pawlak's colleagues Peter Faber, played by Jörg Hartmann (54), and Rosa Herzog, played by Stefanie Reinsperger (36), were actually supposed to continue investigating as a team of two.
The WDR has now apparently thrown these plans overboard.
New commissioner at the “Tatort” in Dortmund: Alessija Lause is a new addition
Chief Inspector Ira Klasnić is the new face at the Dortmund “Tatort”.
The role is played by Alessija Lause, who will appear for the first time in the new case “Cash”.
In the plot of the crime thriller, the inspector is said to be Pawlak's former superior before his time at the Dortmund police.
However, the broadcaster is not yet revealing any more details about the new character: “Her career will be different from that of her ex-colleague.
We can’t reveal anything more at the moment.”

“Crime scenes” are turned upside down: Rick Okon is not the first exit
Rick Okon is not the first star to leave or have to leave the 'crime scene'.
Due to austerity measures, numerous other well-known faces such as Commissioner Ellen Berlinger (played by Heike Makatsch) from the Mainz “Tatort”, Klaus Borowski (played by Axel Milberg) from Kiel, Ivo Batic (played by Miroslav Nemec) and Franz Leitmayr (played by Udo Wachtveitl) from Munich, Paula Ringelhahn (played by Dagmar Manzel) from Franconia as well as Anna Janneke (played by Margarita Broich) and Paul Brix (played by Wolfram Koch) from Frankfurt's “Tatort” left the program.
Alessija Lause will replace Rick Okon in “Tatort” in the future.

Til Schweiger (60), who was at the Hamburg “Tatort”, can no longer be seen in his role as Inspector Nick Tschiller.
Schweiger explained to 'Bild': "It's been a long time since we planned to continue." The ARD and NDR were also "no longer in the mood" for it, said the actor.
The broadcaster had previously announced through coordinator Jörg Schöneborn that no further Schweiger 'Tatort' episodes were planned.
The reason here is probably austerity measures.
Schöneborn had already announced last year that the format would have to say goodbye to well-known – and expensive – actors.
New and less well-known actors should be used instead.
