The hours-long deployment of special forces at a vocational school in Mölln is over.
The special forces were deployed after an emergency call was received on Monday morning.
“The search did not lead to the arrest of a suspect and was completed at 3:50 p.m.,” police said.
At around 9 a.m., the police were informed via an emergency call that a student at the vocational school had reported an armed person in the school building.
Mölln - He saw a person who was carrying a firearm in his waistband.
He also heard a noise that was said to be a firearm being loaded.
After the call, a major police operation began.
Emergency services cordoned off the area and special forces searched the school for several hours.
After searching the individual building complexes, the affected students were gradually able to leave the school and were questioned by police officers.
The investigation into the background to the case was ongoing.
The police were on site with around 150 emergency services.
An estimated 1,500 students were affected by the measures.
