It was at an auction in Houston (Texas) that Ann Caroline Prazan, director of art, culture and heritage at Guerlain, got her hands on a copy of the first tube of lipstick launched by Aimé Guerlain in 1870. With his recharge, he created astonishment when he came out.
The object, called Don't forget me, no longer feels anything, unfortunately.
Until then in the hands of a perfume collector, it crossed the Atlantic, then joined the Guerlain reserve, near La Samaritaine, in Paris.
In this place guarded like a safe, the history of the house is contained in 350 bottles and original documents.
Maintained at a cool temperature, so as not to damage the treasures kept in chic white boxes, the Sublimes reserve is rarely opened.
