District rifle master Gertraud Stadler draws a positive conclusion.

– district rifle master Gertraud Stadler and her three deputies Reinhold Schäfer, Bernhard Hoffmann and Anton Stimmer will be in charge of the Schützengau Dorfen for another four years.
In the new elections during the annual general meeting on Saturday, they were re-elected, as were the other board members.
The position of district secretary could not be filled for the time being.
Claudia Waldinger did not stand for re-election and no successor could be found during the meeting.
The position of 2nd Gaudamenleiter also became vacant after Adelheid Holme no longer made herself available.
Otherwise, the deputy district rifleman Klaus Waldherr had an easy job as returning officer; all previous incumbents were re-elected almost unanimously.
In her annual report, the district rifle master looked back primarily on the 100th anniversary of the founding last year.
She was pleased and grateful at the same time about the clubs' willingness to help with their shooters during the preparations and also when cleaning up afterwards.
Stadler praised the clubs for celebrating the district anniversary and was at the same time enthusiastic about the participation of the shooting clubs in the rifle parade on the occasion of the 1250th anniversary of the city of Dorfen at the folk festival in August 2023. “Things are going wonderfully in the district of Dorfen at the moment - socially and also sportingly “, praised the district rifle master.
Details of the sporting successes were provided by district sports director Michael Piehl.
He spoke of a significant increase in the number of participants in the championships and highlighted the number of podium finishes by Dorfen shooters at the national championships.
The air rifle team from Isental Lengdorf was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga and was able to end its first season with a good fourth place.
National squad shooter Maxi Dallinger also achieved podium places at several World Cups and at the European Championships.
Gau youth leader Günter Wegmann reported on the successes of the Dorfen young shooters at the district cups.
After the three preliminary round victories, the air rifle team took seventh place in the final and the air pistol shooters came in fifth place in the district final.
