Two drivers provided work for the Geretsried police on Sunday evening.

One of them, a driver who was involved in an accident, is still being sought.

Geretsried - A uniformed patrol crew from the Geretsried police noticed a dark small car parked in a traffic violation in the Stein district on Sunday around 7:30 p.m.

Two men were sitting in the back of the car.

During the general traffic stop, the driver showed signs of previous drug use - which he did not deny when asked by the officers.

A test also confirmed the use of narcotics.

A doctor then took blood from the man in the Wolfratshausen district clinic.

The driver will be fined and banned from driving.

A man from Geretsried reported the damage to his VW Passat to the police on Sunday evening around 7 p.m.

The man told the emergency services that he had parked his car shortly in front of his apartment in Geretsried-Stein after returning from a trip.

When he returned to his car a few moments later, he found several scratches on the paint.

The owner estimates the amount of damage to be around 2,500 euros.

The man was unable to provide any information about who was responsible.

The police are investigating.
