“TikTok has introduced innovative features and settings to protect teens and prevent children under 13 from accessing the platform, an issue the entire industry is addressing. We will continue to work with industry experts and players to ensure the safety of young people on TikTok and we are pleased to now have the opportunity to explain this work in detail to the Commission."
This was stated by a spokesperson for TikTok after the communication from the European Commission on the investigation into the law on digital services, the DSA.
